BATAAN CAPITOL — The provincial government here has recently signed a pact with the Philippine Red Cross-Bataan Chapter and Pusong Pinoy Partylist which will ensure that those who need blood will be catered without problems.

The agreement was signed by Bataan Governor Joet Garcia, Pusong Pinoy Partylist Representative Jett Nisay and PRC-Bataan administrator Charlie Gatbunton.

"This initiative aims to meet the need of our financially incapable compatriots, to buy blood when they are in need," he said.

Garcia disclosed that the funds will be sourced from the Local Government Support Fund of Pusong Pinoy under the Department of the Interior and Local Government while the Provincial Social Welfare Development Office will get in touch with the relevant offices for the required documents.
