Six people, including two traffic enforcers of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, were injured after they were allegedly run over by the driver of a sports utility vehicle in Quezon City Saturday morning.
According to the MMDA, the SUV first rammed two motorcycles, forcing MMDA personnel to flag it down. The angry driver alighted from the vehicle and attacked the MMDA enforcers, according to the agency.
The driver scratched one enforcer and tried to choke another, prompting them to make an arrest. One enforcer's uniform was torn from the attack.
Another enforcer was kicked in the face by the driver, the agency said. The identity of the arrested suspect in yet another apparent road rage case was withheld.
