The Philippine and Korean Navies over the weekend, tackled the enhancement of their bilateral ties in the second reiteration of the "Navy-to-Navy" talks at the Busan Naval Base, in South Korea.
PN Public Affairs Office Director, CDR Benjo Negranza, said RDML Kang Jeongho, the head of Policy at the Republic of Korea Navy headquarters, warmly welcomed the Philippine Navy delegation to their country.
Vice Admiral Kang Dong Hun, the commander of the Fleet of the RoKN, met the PN delegation led by Commodore Ezpeleta at the RoKN Fleet headquarters, to express South Korea's support for the Philippine Navy and further develop better cooperation.
The meeting highlighted the plans for education and training, people-to-people exchanges, logistics cooperation, combined exercises, and ship visits between the PN and RoKN.
Negranza said both countries' naval teams "endeavor to foster bilateral ties and lasting relationships" in the pursuit of regional cooperation and stability.
