
SB19 scored a sweep — winning seven categories in the 2022 Awit Awards held 23 November at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
T he P-pop group's song "What?" bagged Best Global Recording, Best Vocal Arrangement, and Most Streamed Song; "Mama" clinched Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist; and "Bazinga" was Best Dance Recording and Best Pop Recording. SB19 was likewise voted Most Streamed Artist.
Ben&Ben followed closely with five awards including Best Musical Arrangement for "Upuan"; Best World Music Recording and Best Collaboration Award for "Sabel" with KZ Tandingan; Best Music Video for "Lunod" with Zild Benitez and Karlos Labajo; and Album of the Year for Pebble House, Vol. 1: Kwaderno.
The Dangal ng Musikang Pilpino award went to Nonoy Zuñiga for his remarkable achievements as a singer.
