Days before the Filipinas' friendly against Chile, Isabella Flanigan committed to West Virginia University's women's soccer team.
The Mountaineers announced on their social media page yesterday that the 17-year-old forward has offered her services to the team.
WVU will be competing in this year's National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1 women's competition.
Flanigan has three goals under her belt for the Philippines as she was part of the squad that won the bronze in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi and the gold in the 2022 AFF Women's Championship in the Philippines.
She will be entering the season with the Mountaineers as they try to make a deep run this season.
The squad's campaign begins with a match against Virginia Tech this Sunday at the Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia.
As of press time, the Filipinas have yet to reveal its starting unit 11 against La Roja Femenina.
