A 47-year-old tricycle driver from Guiguinto, Bulacan claimed the multi-million Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot prize of P188,471,378.80 at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office main headquarters in Mandaluyong City after he clinched the 09-03-19-13-20-29 winning combination drawn on 23 October 2022.

According to the claimant, he's been playing PCSO Lotto games and trying his luck for over 20 years. The winning numbers were a tribute to his late mother-in-law which is a combination of the date of birth and her death.

The PCSO reminded the public that to avoid forfeiture of winnings, winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize, as specified in Republic Act 1169. The PCSO further reminded the public that all lotto jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO main office.

To claim prizes, winners must write their names and sign at the back of the winning ticket, and present two government-issued identification cards.

The PCSO also reminded the public that prizes over P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax pursuant TRAIN law.
