Most incredible paranormal experience

As I said in the first part of this column, this question is more difficult to answer than the first because almost all experiences or events I have witnessed in the paranormal world are incredible or hard to believe. In fact, they are not supposed to happen from the point of view of common sense and Western science.

Barehanded psychic surgery, as performed only by Filipino faith healers, would certainly qualify as the most unbelievable paranormal phenomenon I have witnessed and even personally experienced.

I had my enlarged prostate gland operated on by a female faith healer in Makati City in 2022 and 2010, with amazing results as shown by ultrasound before and after such surgeries.

The other very hard-to-believe paranormal phenomenon I witnessed personally is I channeled a message from a dead person. Now there is nothing really surprising with channeling or mediumship. In the Philippines, Brazil, and Great Britain especially since there are many spiritual mediums who could obtain verifiable messages from the dead.

Yet more than 10 years ago, I channeled a message from an Egyptian scribe who had been dead for 3,400 years. I have certainly not heard of a case of somebody who has been dead for thousands of years giving messages to the living.

AMENHOTEP, son of Hapu, was an ancient Egyptian architect, priest, scribe, and public official.

This happened in our weekly meditation group composed of about seven men and women. Somebody invoked or called upon the Egyptian scribe who was involved in the writing of The Egyptian Book of the Dead, because he wanted to ask questions about this sacred book.

The scribe whom I channeled gave his name as Amenhetep, whom we mistakenly thought was Amenhotep but only mispronounced his name. But I knew that Amenhotep was a pharaoh and not a scribe. So I thought this was all a mistake. He gave specific answers to questions we asked about The Egyptian Book of the Dead which was then unknown.

One week later, I happened to get at random from my library in the office a book entitled Practical Egyptian Magic by Murray Hope, an English writer and occultist.

When I opened the book to page 20, the very first paragraph says: "The oldest copy of the The Egyptian Book of the Dead known to exist on papyrus is written for Nu, the son of the overseer of the house, or the overseer of the seal, Amenhetep, and the lady of the house, Senseneb."

I found out that Amenhetep was born in 1425 B.C. and died in 1356 B.C. That is almost 3,400 years ago when he died.

This brings to mind the question, "Is it possible for a person who has been dead for that long to communicate with the living? And, therefore, the common belief, that the spirit of the dead stays on Earth for only 40 days, is wrong?"

In all my many years of research in paranormal and mystical phenomena, I have never come across a case like this.

This shows that the line between the living and the dead is rather thin.
