New company Optimal Athletics to build sports and recreational facilities

Optimal Athletics Inc. (OAI) is a sports and recreational start-up founded by CEO and president Kevin James Olayvar and chairman Raf Gastador.

It aims to promote sports,
recreational and social activities by building their facilities.

The founders said they want the company to be known as an influential group that delivers innovative
experiences in the sports industry to push sports development further with next-level ideas.

The company is dedicated to create opportunities and help mold Philippine sports development by connecting with different partnerships that share the vision of creating a
new path for sports in the country.

Its first major project is a football pitch at SM Cherry  in Mandaluyong, supported
by its venue partner SM Malls.

It will feature the first rooftop football pitch using a FIFA-preferred producer, LIMONTA Artificial Turf.

It will introduce a game-changing mall experience in partnership with SM Malls Cherry.

OAI said it has fostered a community from various organized events it has hosted in the
metro.

It plans to create a league or series that would become the staple football event at SM Cherry for kids and adults, from beginner to
intermediate to professional.

OAI said it the venue will also create an environment for people to relax, eat and drink while watching football games.
