Shell Energy Philippines Inc. announced Friday that it will power up various firms within the Lucio Tan Group of Companies using renewable energy to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
In a press statement, Shell Energy said it will supply 15 megawatts of renewable energy to Asia Brewery, Inc.'s manufacturing facilities in Luzon, which will help the company cut its carbon footprint.
PMFTC's Batangas and Marikina plants have switched to renewable power, moving forward in its journey toward sustainability.
Lufthansa Technik Philippines, Tan's joint venture aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul company, also inked a separate deal with Shell Energy to power up their existing facility in Villamor air base.
Sister growth companies
In addition to SEPH's inked agreements with the said Lucio Tan Group of Companies, other sister companies Philippine Airlines, Philippine National Bank, and Eton Properties Philippines, Inc. are also set to join SEPH's growing list of renewable energy partners which is currently at 59.
"Establishing strategic partnerships with the Lucio Tan Group of Companies is an opportunity for both our organizations to be on the frontline in building up the renewable power business on a national and global scale," Shell Energy General Manager and President Bernd Krukenberg.

SEPH is a retail electricity supplier under the Shell companies in the Philippines offering competitive and environment-friendly energy solutions to industrial and commercial customers in the country.
