According to Athletic Events and Sports Management Group Inc., the slated quadruple-header in the second round of this collegiate tourney had been cancelled as Metro Manila braces for strong winds and heavy rain brought by "Paeng."
"Paeng" had already intensified, prompting authorities to place Metro Manila and nearby provinces under Signal No. 2 as of Friday evening.
"Due to unexpected weather disturbance, we have decided to postpone the matches scheduled tomorrow, 29 October, to a later date," ACES said in a statement.
A total of eight teams were set to see action in the second round of the SSL.
