Barangay Ginebra San Miguel played true to form in dumping Terrafirma, 111-90, to forge a share of third to fourth places with Converge in the Philippine Basketball Association on Friday, 28 October, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Gin Kings capped a night of blowout victories and after seeing the FiberXers outplaying TNT in the first game, the league's crowd darling didn't let up from start to finish all the way to the convincing win.
Two-time Best Import winner Justin Brownlee went business as usual, completing a triple-double performance of 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists while leading the Ginebra's assault.
It was the second straight victory for the Gin Kings, who also pulled the rug from under previously unbeaten Magnolia Timplados, 113-107, on Sunday night.
Against the Dyip, the Ginebra was able to display its balance production while keeping Terrafirma as the only winless team in the tournament at 0-7.
The Dyip absorbed their 23rd straight loss.
