A nine month old baby boy died after drowning in rainwater outside their house in Navotas City on Wednesday morning.
Reports from the Navotas City Police revealed that the child was sleeping next to his father — identified as Roel Galero — and other two siblings, inside their house along F. Cruz Street in Barangay Tangos North.
It said that when the family woke up the next morning, the infant was nowhere to be seen and after a frantic search, they discovered the child unconscious on a broken wall with accumulated rainwater.
They quickly rushed the baby to the Navotas City Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
