National Indigenous People’s Month, ‘Dayaw,’ and ‘Tara, G!’

ABS-CBN's youth series Tara, G!, which is seen on iWantTFC, show its main characters interacting with the indigenous people of Benguet, where most of the scenes are set?
October is National Indigenous People's Month, as well as National Galleries and Museums Month.
The National Commission on Culture and the Arts is extending its commemorative activities related to indigenous people till the first week of November.
The National Indigenous People's celebration is dubbed Dayaw Festival.
NCCA executive director Oscar Casaysay said at the opening ceremonies: "Dayaw affords Filipinos to show pride with dignity, most especially the indigenous people from different regions of the country. It is also a way of upholding cultural communities for a robust economy."
