Navotas City has provided various social services and programs to more than 11,000 Navoteños during the current local administration's first 100 days in office.
Of this, 3,321 individuals received financial assistance for their medical needs.
Some 4,424 seniors collected their P500 NavoRegalo birthday cash gift while 224 registered solo parents got P2,000 financial assistance through the Saya ALL, Angat ALL program.
The city also provided financial assistance to 1,933 beneficiaries under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Furthermore, 1,775 families received the full amount of the second tranche of their Bayanihan 1 Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
According to Mayor John Rey Tiangco, Navotas also gave burial assistance to 1,022 beneficiaries, while the Libreng Libing program benefited 46 deceased residents.
"We want to provide Navoteños with utmost care from womb to tomb," the mayor said.
"Our goal is to ensure that every citizen receives the best services that our city government can deliver," he added. (Cherk Balagtas)
