Magnolia Timplados remained undefeated after five games in the PBA Commissioner's Cup, ravaging NorthPort Batang Pier, 109-91, on 16 October at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Six players scored nine points or more for the Hotshots, led by energetic import Nick Rakocevic, who pumped in 26 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Mark Barroca added 13 points and eight assists while Jerrick Ahanmisi, Jio Jalalon and the comebacking Ian Sangalang tallied 10 markers apiece for the Hotshots.

Jackson Corpuz sank nine more as Magnolia logged in 61 points coming off the bench, 29 more than NorthPort.
