Marvin Dumandan and amateur Eldon Elumba combined for 10-under 62 to seize the temporary lead in the SAFTI Zamboanga pro-am golf tournament at the Zamboanga Golf and Beach Resort in Zamboanga City Friday.
Dumandan and Elumba collected 10 birdies to take a two-stroke lead over Elmer Salvador-Ed Alves, Angelo Anzuris-Eugene Wamilda, Mhark Fernando-Bladimir Arcillas and Frankie Minoza-Raul Minoza.
Tied on 65s were pro champion Juvic Pagunsan-Pherham Saiddi and Margno Arancon-Ali Gaccion.
Tournament format was team scramble.
The event ends Saturday using best-ball.
