Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has asked the city council a budget of P15 billion for next year.
"Thanks to our hardworking staff who worked until 1 a.m. to finish the proposed budget ordinance for fiscal year 2023," Sotto said in a social media post on Thursday.
"The proposed budget was already transmitted by the executive department this morning to our city council headed by Vice Mayor Robert "Dodot" Jaworski," Sotto added.
Sotto said he is hoping for the speedy approval of the proposed budget.
He added that the proposed budget will be subject to hearings and he looks forward to the inputs of the councilors.
