It added that the port also processed a total of 3 million doses of Pfizer which arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in September.
To date, the Port cleared eight Covid-19 vaccine brands — AstraZeneca, Hayat-Vax, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.
The BoC expedited the release and delivery of vaccines through advanced clearance procedures while the CoVax Special Handling Task Force — composed of members from the BoC's security and operations unit — secured the vaccines.
