After a hot start, Dottie Ardina settled for a quiet even-par 72 in the second round of the Epson Tour Championship at the LPGA International's Jones course in Daytona Beach, Florida Friday.
The 28-year-old Filipina, hoping to earn an LPGA Tour card next season with a strong finish this week, slipped to joint 32nd on 6-under, seven shots behind Thai leader Jaravee Boonchant who fired a 64.
Despite missing only two greens, Ardina made only one birdie, her only bogey coming off the bunker. She needed 34 putts, seven more than in the first round.
Pauline del Rosario was the only other Filipina to make the cut after shooting a 69.
She had four birdies against only one bogey.
Abby Arevalo missed the cut by three after a 73. She finished 36 holes on 1-under.
Also exiting was Clariss Guce who carded a 71 for 1-over 145.
