Travel enthusiasts and visitors to the much-awaited World Travel Expo 2022 will surely be enthused by the WTE's new luxe venue this year — Okada Manila — the so-called "Jewel of Entertainment City" which is set within a 42-hectare property with a stunning ocean-front view.
Organizers of the travel expo, Ad Asia Convention and Exhibitions International Corp. (Ad Asia Events) has inked a deal with Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc to hold the WTE's sixth edition in Okada Manila's plush Crystal Corridor Exhibition Hall from 21 to 23 October.

Travel revival pitched
This year, some 260 booths to be manned by travel agencies, hotel partners, airlines and tour operators will be set up in 5,700 square meters within Okada Manila's Crystal Corridor.
According to the organizers, the emphasis on this year's expo will be on domestic travel with some 70 percent focused on local destinations, and the remaining 30 percent to comprise of a mix of countries in the US, Europe and other parts of Asia.
Travelers can avail of discounts up to as much as 70 percent on travel packages even as some merchants providing such extras as processing of visas and other travel documents for a minimal fee.
This year's expo promises to be an exciting event, to be held on a grander scale starting with its official venue — the so-called "premier jewel of the entertainment city" Okada Manila — which is included in the Forbes Travel Guide as a Forbes Five-Star Integrated Resort.
Visitors to the expo might stay around to watch Okada's stunning hourly multicolor dancing fountain show which starts at 6 p.m. daily and unwind at Cove Manila, Okada's unique indoor beach club and night club.
