Some of the 433 bettors, who won the P236-million jackpot prize of the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw last Saturday night, started to claim their prizes on Monday at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office office in Mandaluyong City.
In a Facebook post of PCSO, some winners posted their winning tickets with the combination of 09-45-36-27-18-54. Each winner takes home P545,245 subject to a final tax of 20 percent under Republic Act 10963, or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
One of the winning bettors traveled 10 hours to claim his prize. He said he has been betting patterns 9, 8, 7 and 6 for many years.
The lucky bettor received a check from PCSO general manager Mel Robles.
