Two suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of P840,000 worth of marijuana Monday morning in Novaliches, Quezon City.

A report to Novaliches police station chief P/Lt. Col. June Nuyda identified the suspects as Salvador Belesaria, alias "boss," 18; and Amador Grefal, aka "Nonoy," 21, both residents of Barangat Commonwealth in Quezon City.

Station drug enforcement unit operatives conducted the drug sting after receiving a tip about the alleged drug-peddling activities of the suspects.

A poseur-buyer was able to buy P21,000 worth of marijuana from Belesaria and Grefal, according to the police that reported the seizure of 7,000 grams of the weed.

Said suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
