Oslob, a small coastal town in the southern tip of Cebu, is known for its whale shark (butanding) watching site.

Another must-visit site is the Tumalog Waterfalls.

Heritage tour

Cuartel was built in 1860 as a military barrack by the Spaniards.

Today, it is one of Oslob's heritage sites along with the Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepcion. The church was constructed in 1830 and designed by Bishop Santos Gomez Marañon.

A 15 to 20-minute boat ride from Oslob is the 24-hectare Sumilon coral island. It is the first marine sanctuary in the Philippines.
