With the increase in the number of people infected with Covid-19, the city government of Navotas once again reminded and encouraged those who have not yet completed the vaccine and those who do not have any vaccine against the said disease, to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

According to the City Health Office, 222,465 have received the first dose of the covid-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, 222,384 completed two doses, 71,778 received the 1st booster, and 12,768 received the 2nd booster.

In this regard, according to Mayor John Rey Tiangco, the "Bakunahan Bayan: PinasLakas Special Vaccination Days", starting today Friday, September 30, will have covid vaccination in the Señor Compounds that will be held every, Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

As of Thursday, the City Health Department recorded the following: Total Recoveries-20,975; Total Active- 74; Total Deaths- 687; Total- 21,736.

"Always follow health and safety protocols, and get vaccinated or booster for protection against Covid-19," according to the mayor.
