Korean girl group Apink has canceled its Chobom Thailand fan meet, following a vehicular accident involving its member Park Chorong.
Park was being driven home from rehearsals on 21 September when the accident happened. The driver of Park's vehicle lacked experience, her management 1ST Entertainment said in a statement.
Two days later, she went on and performed in Japan with her Apink co-members — despite experiencing pain around her cervical spine.
The pain worsened and she was advised by doctors to rest.
"We sincerely apologize to the fans who waited a long time and ask for their understanding. We will make Park Chorong's health our priority and do our utmost [best] for the remaining 2022 Apink Chobom Fan Meeting 'Framily' in Korea," said 1ST Entertainment.
