The latest tropical cyclone bulletin update from PAGASA-DOST on 25 September says "the center of the eye of Super Typhoon 'Karding' was estimated to be over the coastal waters of Burdeos, Polillo Islands, Quezon (15.0 °N, 122.1 °E ).
It is moving westward at 20 km/h, with maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h.
Its forecast position, after making landfall tonight, 25 September is as follows:
26 Sept, 2:00 am – In the vicinity of Botolan, Zambales
26 Sept, 200 pm, – 315 km west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan
27 Sept, 2:00 am – 625 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan
27 Sept, 2:00 pm – 865 km west of Central Luzon
