A lone bettor in Quezon province became an instant millionaire after guessing the right six-digit combination of the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on Friday night.
In an advisory Saturday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said the bettor picked the numbers 34-24-07-44-21-38, winning a total jackpot prize of P58,796,739.60.
The ticket was purchased in Lucena City, Quezon.
The bettor can claim his check at PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City by presenting the winning ticket and two identification cards.
As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.
Seventeen others won P32,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning digits, while 949 will get P1,000 each for four correct digits and 18,059 will settle for P30 each for three correct digits.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.
Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
This is the second time this month that a bettor won the jackpot prize of the government's lottery games.
