The Azkals U19 scored a 1-0 win over Afghanistan in their final game of the Asian Football Confederation U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers at the Al-Saadah Sports Complex in Salalah, Oman Sunday evening.

Kaj Amirul slotted home a goal in the 83rd minute gave the Philippines a much-needed morale boost as the team ends its campaign on a high note.

The Philippines finished the qualifiers with a 1-2 win-loss record with a -3 goal difference.
