BAGUIO CITY — A female individual was declared dead on arrival at a hospital moments after she was shot several times by a riding-in-tandem on Monday morning at Barangay Cabaruan, Magsingal, Ilocos Sur.

The victim was identified as Flordeluza Serrano Urodio of Barangay San Clemente, Magsingal Ilocos Sue, who was killed after she was peppered with bullets by still unidentified assailants.

Initial reports disclosed that the victim was on board her motorcycle traversing the road in Barangay Cabaruan when she was shot by riding-in-tandem. She succumbed three gunshot wounds on the different parts of her body.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed instantly after her head was run-over by a passenger bus along the road of Barangay Saoat, Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur also on Monday morning.

The victim was identified as Janice Achevera Josue, a resident of Barangay Padaoil, Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur.

Reports said Josue was on board her motorcycle and was in the outer lane of the road heading towards the north direction. The bus was also heading north and was in the inner lane of the road.

Her motorcycle entered the inner lane which the bus was traversing which caused the bus to hit the motorcycle and pinned the victim under the bus.
