Alex Eala returns to the juniors division in the US Open against Canadian Annabelle Xu on 4 September at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, New York.

"Good to be back at the US Open! I play my first match at 11 am on Court 6. Let's go," Eala posted on social media.

The last time Eala competed in the US Open, she suffered a 5-7, 3-6 loss to Sebastiana Scilipoti of Switzerland in the girls juniors quarterfinal in 2021.
