Filipino from Malolos, Bulacan is leading the cast for a short film project that will serve as an entry to the US Festival Film Circuit this fall.
In an online interview, Anthony Martin Sayo said that he is the lead star of the film, Daughter. It is directed by multi-awarded filmmaker Yiwei Yao from China.
"The story is about me as a single dad who has an only daughter. The daughter was involved in a road accident and died but the investigation of the police to solve the case is slow," he said.
Sayo studied at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory. He also has a diploma in film and stage acting. He is also a certified personal trainer at the National Strength and Conditioning Association based in Colorado, Springs USA. He graduated magna cum laude at the University of the Philippines.
