MERALCO needs another big game from Allen Durham (with ball) in Game 5.
Meralco and TNT KaTropa clash for one last time in the do-or-die Game 5 of their semifinal series in the 2019 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors’ Cup today at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
The Bolts stayed alive in the series after pulling off a 95-83 win in Game 4 Saturday night to tie their best-of-five duel at 2-all.
Now, the sister teams meet again at 7 in the evening for the last finals berth and the right to meet Barangay Ginebra in the best-of-seven championship down.

“We have to figure out what we need to do in Game 5 to make sure we can come out with the victory,” he added.
Allen Durham once again came up big for Meralco in their elimination game with 36 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
Baser Amer also was also huge in Game 4 with 12 points, seven assists and four steals while Chris Newscome added 10 markers and nine boards.
Black and the rest of the Bolts expect KaTropa to come out strong in the knockout game and they need to play as a solid unit to stand a chance against them.
“I told my players that whatever happens in the game, we need to stay together because the game might end with a last second shot,” Black said.
“You always want to stay together, composed, just pick up each other, help each other up and that’s what they did (in Game 4). They didn’t get discourage by the slow start and slowly we were able to get back into the game.”
TNT KaTropa failed to capitalize its 2-1 series lead as it allowed Meralco to finish the game strong in Game 4.
The KaTropa just shot 38 percent from the field (29-of-75) and only 20 percent from the three-point area (7-of-21).
Import KJ McDaniels put up 26 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Troy Rosario had 15 points and five rebounds and Jayson Castro had 14 points and seven assists along with three steals for the team of coach Bong Ravena.
RR Pogoy and Ray Parks contributed 11 points a piece for KaTropa but was not enough to finish off the Bolts.
