KAI Sotto has a new suitor in Georgia Tech.
Kai Sotto is turning out to be a hot commodity in United States collegiate basketball.
After visiting University of Kentucky, the seven-foot center made an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech University and on the same day was visited by DePaul head coach Dave Leitao.
The 17-year old Sotto was welcomed by Yellow Jackets head coach Josh Pastner and was given a Georgia Tech uniform and basketball.
The former University Athletic Association of the Philippines Juniors Most Valuable Player first visited the Wildcats in Lexington, the same school that produced current National Basketball Association (NBA) stars John Wall, Anthony Davis and Karl Anthony-Towns.
He was accompanied by his father, Ervin, who also joined him in their trip to Atlanta, Georgia and was welcomed by Pastner.
The Yellow Jackets famous alumni are ex-NBA players Chris Bosh, Dennis Scott and Mark Price.
Sotto posted a photo on his Twitter account with a No. 24 jersey he might be wearing if he chooses the Greorgia Tech.
On the same day, Leitao dropped by at Sotto’s home in Atlanta and is looking to arrange a trip to their campus in Chicago.
Like Georgia Tech, DePaul has produced quality NBA players like Mark Aguire, Wilson Chandler and Tyrone Corbin to name a few.
Sotto, who is ranked 75 in the top 100 list of the ESPN 2020 recruits, is currently training at The Skills Factory in Atlanta.
