Senator Cynthia Villar today advised consumers not to buy and eat galunggong if they find it too expensive.
She said there are so many alternatives in the market and urged the public to buy vegetables.
Villar, who chairs the Senate Agriculture Committee, attributed the price increases of commodities to the Christmas season.
