For two days this week, Globe provided free and unlimited Internet via GoWiFi services to several areas badly affected by typhoon “Tisoy” to facilitate exchange of communication between local government units, search and rescue personnel and communities hit by the natural calamity.

GoWiFi was available in select malls in Albay and the Legaspi City Capitol. It was also available in select Ayala and Robinsons malls in Laguna, Pampanga, Cavite and Rizal.

“We all know that in times like these, communication is very important. We need to be in touch with our loved ones who are suffering the brunt of typhoon ‘Tisoy,’ and be assured that they are safe and dry or if they need urgent help,” Janis Racpan, Globe director for WiFI business group said,
