Agatha Wong bagged her second-consecutive gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Wong won the Wushu, Women’s Taijiquan event in a dominant fashion in front of her fellow Filipino fans at the World Trade Center.
Wong garnered a score of 9.67 after putting up an incredible performance. The next highest score came from Brunei’s Basma Lachkar who finished with a score of 9.55, followed by Vietnam’s Thi Minh Huyen Tran with a score of 9.53.
This is now the Philippines’ second gold medal of the day.
