A group on Friday morning rallied in front of the Dutch Embassy in Makati City calling for the repatriation of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria Sison as it lamented the recruitment of their children to the New People’s Army.
In a statement, League of Parents of the Philippines spokesman Remy Rosadio said that Sison should be extradited immediately since he is not a citizen of the Netherlands and that he should pay for his crimes, adding that the Dutch Embassy should not interfere with the internal affairs of the country.
The group also stressed that the embassy should ask the Dutch government to turn Sison over to the Philippines and to stress its point, some member parents of the group had their heads shaved while burning the flag of the Netherlands.
