MOTOROLA's Razr is anchored on nostalgia.
Nostalgia seems to power the market these days as brands are bringing back their cult-classics as phones that fit today’s smart lifestyle. From Nokia’s reboot of the venerable 3310, Motorola becomes the next brand to modernize its mobile phones with the release of Razr 2019.
Similar to its predecessor, the revamped Razr 2019 banks on its compactness as it still packages itself as a clam phone. The smartphone follows the ‘foldable’ roadway which brands such as Samsung and Huawei are currently treading.
In hindsight, the Motorola Razr is a sleek 2.7-inch external screen which expands into a 6.2-inch display. Motorola says the phone has ‘zero-gap’ hinge which allows the device to be folded and unfolded with ease.
It has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, combined with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
Other features include a fingerprint reader, NFC support and a 2,510mAh battery. It is available in Noir Black and is yet to be released in the country.
