The Sunshine Place’s recent fifth anniversary celebration was an evening of music, friendship, and lots of fun as the Philippine Opera Company delighted members and friends with its “Harana” suite, the Beyond Steps Class swayed to the beat of Katy the Musical, and the recreation center’s staff and instructors also performed a medley of national rural folk dances as a way of thanking their members.
The highlight of the event are the awarding ceremonies led by Felicidad Tan Sy and Sunshine Place president Lizanne Uychaco for the top three Sunshine Place members who actively participated in the center’s classes in art, dance, fitness and mindful movement/meditation.
