Hollywood star, singer and dancer Jennifer Lopez and her fiance, Major League Baseball fame Alex Rodriguez, were destined to marry based on a 21-year-old video clip of his interview about his dream date in the early years of his professional baseball career.
TV host Jimmy Fallon dug up the footage and aired it on his talk show Thursday when Rodriguez was the featured guest.
In the video, a reporter asked the then Seattle Mariner shortstop about his dream date and the 23-year-old Rodriguez cockily replied, “Jennifer Lopez. Hopefully you can find me a date with her.”
