Channeling the Filipino spirit through spectacular animation, Disney Pixar released the trailer for the short film “Float” which features two Filipino-American protagonists that aim to ignite more Pinoy-flavored short films.
Released for Sparkshots — a project of the animation studio which showcases short films created by their group of artists – the short film features a Fil-Am father and son whose lives changed after the father discovered his son can “float” through the air.
Directed by Filipino-American Bobby Rubio the short film will be streamed on Disney+ starting on 12 November.
Rubio – who is known as a cover artist for Marvel Comics and the creator of the comic series “4 Gun Conclusion” and “Alcaraz High” — first shared the good news in January.
