Five armed men, who held up a grocery store in Quezon City this weekend, shot dead an employee and a guard after they failed to open its safe.
The suspects stormed the said store in Barangay Holy Spirit on Sunday night.
Based on footage from the close circuit television, the cashier immediately hid when the men entered, while a male merchandiser attempted to fight with them, forcing them to push him to a side.
One of the suspects carrying a backpack went to the cashier’s place and attempted to open the register. However, he failed, forcing the group to immediately leave on board three motorcycles.
The injured victims were brought to a nearby hospital for treatment, where they died shortly.
