Nearly two weeks after the 3 October fire that destroyed the power rectifiers at the Santolan Station, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) has adjusted the operating hours of the Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT-2) to better serve the needs of the commuting public.
LRTA board secretary Atty. Hernando Cabrera yesterday announced that starting Monday, 14 October, LRT-2 operations would start at 5 a.m., instead of 6 a.m.
On the other hand, the free rides for students will be available only from 3 to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday as compared to its original schedule of from 4:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
