Fun adventures await as Korea’s most famous penguin has arrived at Mactan, Cebu, for the first Pororo indoor theme park in the country.
Located at JPark Island Resort, the play park is comprised of two floors with more than 20 fun games and activities designed to delight kids and kids-at-heart. With friends Crong, Poby, Tongtong, Eddy, Rody and Loopy, Pororo the little penguin will take everyone on an immersive and fun experience while you’re on vacation.
Toddlers and infants definitely will have fun on the park’s first floor with Petty’s Pool Zone, a trampoline, Harry’s Gym Play, Eddy’s Retinisposa Zone, Jungle Gym, Pororo Fishing Zone and Loopy’s House where guests can grab Pororo-inspired meals and drinks.
Kids ages five and above can play to their heart’s content at the second floor with Petty’s Merry-go-round, Eddy’s Sliding Car (a ride that can fit up to nine children), breastfeeding rooms, Pororo Train, Pororo’s Aqua Play Zone, Tutu’s 4D Rider, Sliding Ball Pool, Crong’s Jungle Gym, trampoline for children, Rodi’s Racing Game, Digital Sketching Room, Tong-Tong’s Little Theater, Giant Slide and a souvenir shop.
After a day of games, guests can stay at the Pororo-themed suites which are priced at P36,000 per night. Each room has a kitchen, living room, a ball pit with a mini slide and trampoline for kids, a comfort room and two beds.
Access to the park can be availed at P3,750 for an all-day visit, P1,500 for two hours (P2,250 for foreigners) and an additional P500 for the succeeding hours. It is open from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Pororo Park in Cebu was launched last 21 September in partnership with Iconix Entertainment, producers of the Pororo TV show. The opening marks the brand’s 18th theme park, following Malaysia and Singapore.

By 2020, JPark Island Resort targets to offer 1,200 rooms for its guests. A new building which is on the rise will add 252 more rooms to its current number of accommodations.
“Our family’s vision is to open at least 250 rooms every year and develop new properties around the country to transform islands into a tourist paradise,” JPark president and chairman Justin Uy said.
Plans for expansion in Siargao and Palawan shortly soon are being discussed by the waterpark’s management. “We are excited to open more than 400 guest rooms by last quarter of 2020 at Jpark Island Resort, Panglao Bohol. With these and more, we continue to create exciting opportunities, build new communities and explore never-ending possibilities,” Uy shared.
Alongside the launch of the Pororo Park, JPark unveiled its Triton Grand Ballroom, a massive events place at 1,447 sq.m.

I see no signs of stopping. This 2020, we will continue to grow and become bigger and better.
