The Philippine National Police-Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) said it has filed criminal complaints to more than 200 police personnel as part of efforts to cleanse the police organization of scalawags in uniform.
Based on the data submitted by IMEG, from February 2017 up to 11 September 2019, a total of 250 PNP personnel involved in various illegal activities are now facing criminal complaints.
Of the figure, 124 who are facing criminal complaints have already been arrested while 126 have cases referred to the Department of Justice (DoJ).

Meanwhile, IMEG said that based on their data, 67 percent of the policemen arrested were involved in robbery extortion, 11 percent for kidnapping. about two to three percent for illegal drugs and one percent for slight physical injury.
