Local authorities in Tukuran town, Zamboanga del Sur reported that a British national and his Filipina wife were kidnapped by unidentified armed men in the said town.
According to Tukuran Police Corporal Noriel Borromeo, the victims – identified as Allan and Wilma Hyron — were abducted around 7 p.m at a beach resort they own. The couple owns the Hyron College Philippines in the same town.
Police said that a possible motive is “personal grudge” and search operations are ongoing.
