NEWS BRIEFS: Man nabbed for drugs

A 40-year-old man was arrested for possession of illegal drugs in Pasig City on Tuesday afternoon.

Pasig police chief Col. Moises Villaceran Jr. identified the suspect as Ricky Cristobal, alias Tete, of Barangay Kapasigan.

Seized from the suspect were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing an undetermined quantity of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and the P200 buy-bust money.

Marikina police arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust sting on Tuesday night.

The suspects were identified as Aurius Diaz, alias Rios, 40; and Mary Laine Balan, 27.

They were arrested by Marikina police drug enforcement unit operatives at Twin River Subdvision in Barangay Parang.

Seized were 10 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, P500 buy-bust money, a digital weighing scale and coin purse.

Pasig police arrested a suspect for possession of illegal drugs yesterday morning.

Col. Moises Villaceran Jr., Pasig police chief, identified the suspect as Jhon Anthony Santos, alias Anton, 25, of Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

The suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation carried out by Pasig police drug enforcement unit operatives along Riverside Ilugin, Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

Recovered from the suspect were four sachets suspected of containing shabu and the P200 buy-bust money.
