Two-time Southeast Asian Games champion Eumir Felix Marcial banners the Philippine boxing team in the 30th SEA Games that the country will host from 30 November to 11 December.
Fresh from wining the silver medal in the World Championships in Russia, the 23-year-old Marcial shoots for his third straight SEA Games title in the middleweight division of this prestigious 11-nation tournament.
Also in the lineup released by the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (ABAP) are light flyweight Carlo Paalam, flyweight Rogen Ladon, bantamweight Ian Clark Bautista, lightweight Charly Suarez, light welterweight James Palicte, welterweight Joel Bacho and light heavyweight John Marvin.
In the distaff side, Josie Gabuco will carry the torch in the light flyweight event as well as Irish Magno in the flyweight, Aira Villegas in the bantamweight, Nesthy Petecio in the featherweight and Risa Pasuit in the lightweight divisions.
