A University of San Agustin (USA) student emerged as the top passer in the board examination for medical technologists given this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.
From the 4,743 passers out of 6,453 examinees, Reiven John Borbon Bernales of Iloilo-based USA scored the highest grade of 90.50 percent to top the licensure examination while Marichu Panceras Lomotos of Silliman University came in second with 90.40 percent.
Coming in third were Phoebe Badillo Caballero and Ainah Saturno Pancho of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation with 90.10 percent, while Joven Francis Morales of University of Santo Tomas was fourth at 90 percent.
Completing the top five was Silliman’s Marc Rodney Manaban with 89.70 percent.
