NCRPO chief Guillermo Eleazar confirms what PDEA chief Aaron Aquino said that a barangay chair had been dealing drugs in Manila.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar on Tuesday revealed that the notorious “drug queen” said to be in cahoots with corrupt police officers is a barangay chairperson in Manila’s Sampaloc district.

In a statement, the NCRPO chief noted that the drug queen is also the wife of a former barangay chairman with connections to the so-called “ninja cops.”

Eleazar also disclosed that prior to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) chief Aaron Aquino’s revelation of the alleged drug queen, Metro Manila cops had been monitoring her movements.

The PDEA chief previously said the drug queen buys and redistributes narcotics seized in government operations and that police officers last year were tapped to arrest her in two operations headed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and another one by PDEA.

“Unfortunately, because of the meddling of ninja cops, all operations by the NBI and us turned out negative. There really is a ‘snake’ and before we reach the area, the subject has already fled,” said Aquino in an earlier interview.

Aquino also earlier said several sources have confirmed that unscrupulous anti-narcotics agents either sell seized illegal drugs or use them as planted evidence in bogus operations.
